Family, Seasons

four years old

If time flies when you’re having fun, then time simply evaporates in Summer. We’ve been swimming, playing at every local playground, going to camp, drawing and painting, eating gallons of ice cream and buckets of fries, collecting seashells, watching movies, and celebrating this clever girl who turned 4 nearly a month ago already. (See what I mean about time?!?)

Nina has grown physically by leaps and bounds during the past year. But she has also grown in spirit and energy too. Her independent, confident nature is matched only by her tender, thoughtful heart (and her enthusiasm for cheese!!) She is a beam of light and a laugh a minute. And a day doesn’t go by that we don’t marvel at this blessing in our midst.

Happy Summer, all!
xoxo Danielle

  1. She is adorable! And her hair is exactly the same color mine was as a young girl! I hope you all have a marvelous and happy Summer!

    1. That’s amazing, Sandie, I didn’t know you were auburn as a child! I love her hair color so much – I tell my hair colorist to match it but we never can quite get it right 🙂
