I’m so pleased to finally unveil the changes that have been in the works behind the scenes for many months: my new website daniellechalson.com and, more importantly, my new brand.
As time has passed, and as my days became filled with balancing a young family as well as my design aspirations, I found myself wanting to simplify and streamline my business.
Goodbye, Makewise Designs. Hello, Danielle Chalson Designs.
The new brand is, admittedly, pretty self-explanatory. The heart of my business is still about designing. But the new brand also will encompass the other activities within the wider knitting world that I have been exploring: teaching, writing, and consulting.
I am immensely grateful to my dear friend Elizabeth Green for her graphic design skills. My hope was that the new brand would capture a classic, chic, and tailored aesthetic and I think we have done just that.
I am excited for the future of my design career and my new brand. I invite you to join the journey. For starters, you can find me at the upcoming TNNA Summer Show in Cleveland on June 15-16th. On Saturday, the 16th, I’ll be in Booth #741 from 9 AM to 1 PM sharing samples and discussing all things knitting, so please do plan to stop by for a chat!
As the coming weeks go by, you may see further updates and improvements to this site as I continue to tinker with it! (I do have a reputation for not being able to leave well enough alone….) And if you see something that needs updating to the new brand, don’t be shy about letting me know.
Finally, there is one housekeeping matter to attend to: the recent enactment in Europe of the General Data Protection Regulation (or “GDPR”). These regulations impact how personal data is used and stored on the internet, regardless of whether you live in Europe. To that end, you may wish to review my Privacy Policy that details how your personal data, if any, is obtained and/or used by this site and its third-party partners. You can unsubscribe from this blog or remove any of your data from this site at any time, simply by (a) using the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the emails that you receive from me; or (2) emailing me at danielle.chalson@yahoo.com to opt-out.
xoxo,
Danielle
