a chat with marie segares

Hi all! Just a quick note to say that an interview that I did with Marie Segares of Underground Crafter is now up on her blog! Marie is a wonderfully warm and talented woman with many years of crochet experience, and it was such a pleasure to meet up with her in the midst of Vogue Knitting Live back in the winter!

(AND: there’s a coupon code at the end of the interview, good until the end of this week! Enjoy!)

PS: I keep meaning to share a picture update on our hydrangeas that never really recovered from their initial storm blast a few weeks back. Tomorrow!

  1. “There is so much to learn and I frankly think I’ll never learn it all. Somebody will always know more than you about a specific thing, but it’s that excitement of learning it and trying to make myself better, while at the same time producing something with my own two hands that at the end of the day, I can actually hold it and touch it. That’s what’s most gratifying.”

I could not have said it better myself. That is exactly how I’ve always felt about my knitting.

The interview was very well done. I really enjoyed reading it, and I’m so pleased, for your sake, that you’ve been successful in your craft and your designs. 🙂
