Take the basic triangular shawl to the next level with a nine-pointed shawl. Drape it evenly over your shoulders for an elegant statement (the shaping ensures it stays put) or style it your own way every day – Augusta is practical, timeless, and unique.

Note: This shawl was designed to take maximum advantage of a precious skein – please check your blocked gauge swatch carefully to ensure that you won’t run out of yarn.

Finished, Blocked Dimensions:
Center back length: 15 inches
Distance from center back to next closest points (points 2 and 3): 14 inches
Distance from points 2 and 3 to next closest points (points 4 and 5): 13 inches
Distance from points 4 and 5 to next closest points (points 6 and 7): 7 inches
Distance from points 6 and 7 to next closest points (points 8 and 9): 7 inches
Distance from points 8 and 9 to shawl tips: 5 inches

Yarn:
Madelinetosh Pashmina (75% merino wool, 15% silk, 10% cashmere; 360 yds / 100 grams), colorway Forestry, one skein

Needles:
Size US 6 40″ circular needles

Notions:
nine stitch markers, crochet hook and waste yarn for provisional cast on, one yarn needle

Gauge:
5 stitches / 8 rows = 1 inch in stockinette stitch
