Interlocking cables march across the surface of Kindred, a modern baby blanket designed for the special baby in your life. The blanket measures 31” square, perfect for use in a carriage, and is worked from the center out in one piece, including the garter stitch border. The front of the blanket features lots of texture framed by a reverse stockinette stitch background, while the reverse side features a gentle ribbing-like pattern. Pictured above, the sample is knit in a delicately pastel cotton and wool blend yarn for warmer climates, but other worsted-weight yarns can be substituted easily for even cozier results!

Please note: the pattern includes charted instructions for working each of the body and the border sections!
