Inspired by the boats that dot the coastline of Rhode Island, this towel set makes a thoughtful gift for a hostess, a housewarming, a new bride or even a bride-to-be. One towel features a motif of signal flags, used by ships to spell out messages and to celebrate special occasions. The other towel features a lace motif that resembles the sailboats traversing Narragansett Bay in the summer and was inspired by the “Arrowheads” stitch pattern in Sterling’s Big Book of Knitting Stitch Patterns.
