The shawl is worked flat in one piece in a sport-weight yarn. Each section of the shawl is both written out and charted. To make a larger shawl, work more rows as established in the body increase section (i.e., work more repeats of the Cable Panel and corresponding increases within the Garter Rib Patt) until the shawl is your desired length.
Two notes regarding the listed materials: (1) the specified yardage includes the tassels and you may wish to set this yardage aside before knitting the shawl; and (2) the sample took nearly all of 5 skeins, so you may wish to purchase an additional skein for swatching purposes.
