Three different, but complementary, cable patterns gracefully wend their way along the surface of the Magnolia Blanket. Slipped stitch edges, with small cable twists at each edge, and ribbed borders ensure that the blanket lies flat. A solid or mostly solid color of yarn honors this timeless design.
The blanket is worked flat in one piece in an aran-weight or heavy worsted yarn. The carriage blanket size is shown, and the pattern includes 2 larger sizes. The cable patterns are written out and charted. For a custom size, add or subtract repeats of the Main Cable Panel and work until the blanket is your desired length. Be sure to measure your working yarn before and after completing one full repeat of the cable patterns to ensure that you have enough yarn.
