One of the most versatile garments in your wardrobe, the Riverbank Vest features an allover braided cable texture, a cozy garter stitch shawl collar, eye-catching buttons, and an easy shape that makes it perfect for layering. The texture of the cables shows up best in a solid or mostly solid colorway.

The body is knit flat in one piece from the bottom up to the armholes. The right front, back, and left front are individually knit flat and then seamed at the shoulders. Stitches are picked up around each armhole to work ribbed edges with a professional (and optional) tubular bind-off. Stitches are picked up around the neckline to work the garter shawl collar and buttonband. Finally, the buttons are sewn to the front.
