It’s been a hectic week, but happily there’s still been a bit of time to swatch for a new shawl design in some yummy leftovers of Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light, a fingering-weight singles merino yarn.
Clearly, I’m not over my little cabling obsession at the moment. I’m thinking of maybe a triangle shawl, and maybe a related stole design, with an “avian” feel – don’t those cables look a bit like V-shaped flocks? And I have just the right shade of yarn in mind – an on-trend, very vivid lapis/sapphire shade. Mmmm jewel tones….
