Happy New Year!  Happy new decade!  I hope that 2020 is a great one for each of us, where we stretch ourselves to be more creative, curious, and compassionate.

I’m happy to share that a very seasonally appropriate design, previously published with WEBS: America’s Yarn Store, is now available for purchase here at DCD.

This is the Cupola Hat:

It combines plush ribbing, an intricate diamond cable that flows in and out of the ribbing, and a classic tweed yarn to create a timeless cold weather accessory for both men and women.  Which is perfect because it’s Winter!  The pattern includes instructions for both single and doubled/folded brims as well as info on how to extend the crown of the hat to give it a slouchier fit.

The blend of Merino wool and cashmere in Valley Yarns Taconic ensures that the hat is especially warm and soft.  Like most hat designs, the hat is worked in one piece in the round from the brim to the top.  And the cable pattern is written out as well as charted!

The pattern includes three sizes to fit all adults as well as older children/teens, making it a great (and quick!) project for everyone in the family.

To purchase the pattern or learn more, you can click here at DCD or follow this link to Ravelry.

Happy knitting!
xoxo Danielle
